Phablet is a new term coined to a communication device that has a screen too big to be a smartphone, yet too small to be regarded as a tablet. A tablet is a portable computing device that has a large screen, often between 7 and 15 inches. A phablet has a screen sized between 5.1 and 6.9 inches while a tablet with a screen size between 7.0 and 9.5 inches can be classified as a mini-tablet. There are many differences between a tablet and a phablet, but most people may not know since the phablet is a relatively new device in the market. The biggest difference between the two is that a phablet is easier to carry around and can be used as a smartphone whereas a tablet may be too big to carry around as a phone.
